MAC Please Me is one of my all time favorite MAC lipsticks. Even though it is categorized as “pink” lipstick, I personally use this shade as a nude shade. When I don’t want my lips or my makeup too look too bright or when I want to wear a vey bold eye and a toned down lip, I always reach for Please Me.
This is not to say that this lipstick replaces my nude shades. It does still have a color. Depending on your skin tone, it may look as a perfect dusty rose or even pinky nude. It has both cool and warm undertones, however there’s more cool in it than warm. This undertone combination makes it possible for many skin tones to pull off. It looks beautiful on both pale and dark skin tones, which is very rare for a lipstick. I find that it works great as a pinky nude on girls with medium to dark skin tones and as a gorgeous pink on girl with fair to light skin tones. This is a truly universal shade!!
The formula is matte, so it has a matte finish. It goes on without tagging and is slightly drying. However, it is not as drying as the rest of MAC matte finishes. It lasts just like the rest of them for about 6 hours. It will move slightly if you eat or drink, so reapplication is needed. It smells just like the rest of MAC lipstick–vanilla and chocolate. I personally absolutely love this smell.
Overall, I love this lipstick and I will keep repurchasing it.
