Unlike many other popular nude MAC shades, Myth has a satin finish. For those who are unfamiliar with what MAC satin finish is, I will explain: it is very similar to matte finish, except this time your lipstick will have a very slight, barely-there sheen to it, that will not look glossy, yet will give your lips a natural moisturized look and will keep them somewhat hydrated throughout the day. I cannot say, however that this particular shade (MAC Myth) is a hydrating one. Personally, I found it neither hydrating, nor drying. It lasted on me for about 3-4 hours with medium transfer and did not leave a stain when I removed it.
The color itself is a very soft, feminine beige. I would best describe this shade as a milk beige with cool, pink undertones. Depending on your skin tone, it can either look slightly more pink or slightly more yellow. This color would look gorgeous on girls with pale, and light skin with cool undertones, especially if you have blonde hair and blue eyes.
application wise, it is very easy to apply. Thanks to the satin formula, it literally glides on the lips and gives a very smooth full coverage without slipping or settling in the lip lines.
Who can pull it off: Pale to light skin tones with cool undertones.
