First off, I have to say that this lipstick is very hydrating. When I had it on my lips, it felt like I had a lip balm on and not a lipstick. The color payoff is medium with buildable coverage. However, I don’t think you can achieve full coverage, as this formula is semi-opaque. One layer will give you a sheer coverage and a slightly glossy look. Since this lipstick has very tiny, barely-there golden shimmer, the finish is satin with glossy sheen to it. It lasts for about 4 hours and transfers well.
Now to the color. As I already mentioned the color is confusing and I had to think long and hard which category to put it under. Depending on your skin tone, it can look nude, orange or red. On me (light to medium skin tone with warm undertones) it looks like a warm-toned red with a touch of orange.
Best Matching Lipliner: Laura mercier in “Warm Poppy”.
Will best suit: Light to medium skin tones with warm undertones.
